About Hair Loss

Approximately 100,000 hair follicles form in a single head of hair; this number is 10% fewer in blondes and 10% more in redheads. A hair follicle regenerates 10-20 times over its 2-5 year lifespan, going through three stages: birth, growth, and death.
While shedding 100 hairs a day is considered normal depending on the life cycle of the hair, hair loss exceeding this rate should be taken seriously and a doctor should be consulted.
Hair loss, which is more common in men, typically begins around age 25 and affects nearly 70% of all men throughout their lives. Hair loss, which progresses at varying rates for each individual, begins with a receding hairline and thinning and receding hairline on the front and crown of the head. Over time, it can progress to baldness throughout the entire crown of the head. This hair loss, which constitutes a significant part of the appearance, can lead to serious physical and psychological problems.

Hair loss, which is generally of genetic origin but also frequently encountered due to various diseases, is medically divided into two. These are;

  • Scar-free spills

This is a common type of hair loss. It occurs periodically due to factors such as weather changes, excessive stress, stress, poor nutrition, and hair exposure to chemicals. It's normal for people to experience hair loss for two months due to these factors. If the cause of the hair loss can be addressed, the chances of regrowth are high.

  • Scar-like spills

Burns, alopecia areata, and alopecia areata are a group of lesser-known, uncommon skin conditions. They often appear as localized areas of hair loss on the scalp.

What Causes Hair Loss?

How to Prevent Hair Loss?

Hair loss that occurs due to natural causes, is not related to any disease, and leaves scars, which we call hair loss, cannot usually be completely treated.

If hair loss is caused by external causes;

  • Harmful chemical cosmetic products and procedures should be avoided or discontinued.
  • If there are mineral deficiencies, vitamin deficiencies or hormonal disorders, medications to treat these should be used or the diet should be adjusted with the advice of a dermatologist.
  • Shampoos with natural ingredients suitable for hair type should be used.
  • Wash your hair with warm water and massage your scalp.
